help provide some answers about how inclusive education can be
accomplished.

This site provides resources for inclusion education including a handbook, field notes from teacher interviews,
materials and discussion groups.
Project CHOICES
Project CHOICE, (Children Have Opportunities in Inclusion Community Environment and Schools) is a "least
restrictive environment" initiative funded by the Illinois State Board of Education. There are two components to
the Project: CHOICES, which supports school-age children; and Early CHOICES, which supports preschool-age children.
School and Community Inclusion Program
SCIP is a combination of federal and state grants which promote the full inclusion of students with disabilities in
public elementary and secondary schools. This site supports the development and and field-testing of building
level planning processes to establish and expand inclusive educational programs for all students, including those
with severe disabilities.
Layered Curriculum
This Web site is described as "the gateway to survival in a mixed-ability classroom". The site includes articles,
lesson plans, discussion and teaching strategies.
