This section offers excellent resources for the study and culture of the major languages - French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Other Languages.

This guide to English as a Second Language  (ESL) provides resources including teacher sites, grammar tips, reading suggestions, and ESL forums.

Standards Connection

National and state language experts have developed foreign language standards based in the five themes of languages. Find these standards, sample benchmarks, performance indicators and other tools to help you increase student achievement.
