Vermont standards are organized: PreK-4, 5 - 8, 9 - 12. 
Vermont standards for LA, MA, SC, SS are loaded on the Matrix. T
Vermont Standards include:
1) Vital Results - These standards apply to ALL subjects and were keyworded appropriately for each
2) Fields of Knowledge - These standards apply to each specific subject area.
In the matrix, these are organized as follows:
Math, Science and Social Studies - Fields of Knowledge first then Vital Results.
Language Arts - Vital Results listed first then Fields of Knowledge

Vermont standards have 3 levels:  Level 1: Standard (All Subjects); Level 2: Essential Knowledge and Skills ( All Subjects) and Level 3: Grade Level Example (SS only)
