Language Arts

 

A review and analysis of New Mexico Language Arts Strands, Content Standards, Benchmarks, and Performance Standards (Approved June 2000)  and New Mexico Language Arts Assessment Framework (September 2004) identified the standards/benchmarks and performance standards that are eligible to be tested on the state criterion reference test.

 

A High designation was given the performance standard if it was identified as eligible to be tested.  A Low designation was given if the performance standard was identified as a “Classroom Assessment Only.”  There were no Medium designations given.
