Tech Prep

For many years, vocational education was associated with students who were NOT going on to college. But now, through programs such as Running Start and  Dual Enrollment, high school students can earn college credit or vocational credit toward a post-secondary degree.

In addition, K-12 schools and colleges are working together to align curriculum and offer programs that better define a scope and sequence which is skill-based and matches the needs of the workplace.  Tech Prep is a comprehensive national educational system that provides the link between the classroom and the "real world" of work for students in grades 9 through 14.
